This brave young woman reached out to us in desperation after having an unexpected and undesired result from another practitioner. We can never see anyone come to any harm, so on a day off one of our plastic surgeons rushed down to the clinic to see her. Not for money, not for business but because of the first principle of medicine “do no harm”.
We are extremely grateful for her speaking out about the dangers of aesthetic treatments and the need for better regulation of the industry. Unfortunately she had a treatment from a practitioner without a medical background and was left not knowing what to do. The person who had performed her treatments was not in the country and had not made any provision for cover.
Please know every one of you deserves better.
Complications can happen to anyone but choose your practitioner knowing they will care for you in your time of need.
